Ian Ugarte is a passionate advocate for housing affordability and community-driven property development in Australia. As the founder of IanUgarte.com.au, he is dedicated to reshaping the housing landscape by introducing innovative, small-scale housing solutions that foster genuine community connections.
With more than 25 years of experience in the property industry, Ian has made it his mission to educate investors on sustainable, high-yield investment strategies while ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Ian co-founded Small is the New Big, an educational initiative that teaches property investors how to create better living solutions through housing diversification. He also leads High Income Real Estate System (HI RES), where he helps investors maximise cash flow through executive rentals, short-stay accommodations, HMOs and boarding houses.
Beyond property education, Ian is the founder of IC4 Developments, where he sources and invests in positive cashflow properties and Arkiboat, a company that builds architecturally designed houseboats. His expertise spans property development, mentoring, sustainability, strategic business growth and community-focused investments.
Hollie founded Invida Property Management with Ian out of a conviction that property management can be smarter, more responsive, and genuinely service-oriented. After a career as an emergency nurse, where she learned to stay calm under pressure, prioritise wellbeing and think on her feet, Hollie transitioned into property management — a field where she saw an opportunity to apply her people-first focus and operational discipline to the property investment experience.
Over the past 2–3 years Hollie has taken Invida from a struggling operation to a thriving, results-driven management business. Under her leadership, the team has grown, performance has improved and clients are seeing better outcomes, including robust leasing results and attentive tenant engagement. Hollie is hands-on in building systems that work, leading the team, and ensuring Invida delivers property management that owners trust and tenants respect.
Her approach is grounded in clarity, accountability and proactive problem-solving. Hollie believes great property management is as much about people as it is about processes — and that every property deserves both. With a sharp eye on operational excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement, she’s driving Invida forward with integrity and purpose.
